COACHES IN SHANGHAI TO GET NEW ‘HARD’ SKILLS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – October 1, 2015 – Meryl Moritz, 21-year veteran of organizational coaching and Immediate Past Vice-Chair of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Board of Directors, will deliver a half-day workshop on October 24, 2015 to professional coaches, Human Resources and Learning and Development managers for the ICF-Shanghai chapter. The program is entitled What Makes Coaching Work? Presence, Partnership, Positivity.

The so-called ‘soft skills’ of interpersonal communication and relating have long taken a second-seat to ‘hard skills’ or technical skills. Many management science researchers now say that soft skills are the NEW hard skills. Coaches in China will get the opportunity to strengthen their value proposition to their organizations and to their clients in this upcoming workshop. Coaching demonstration, exercises and discussion will involve participants in the topic so they leave with a strong commitment to practice these three abilities.
