FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 1, 2012 – Meryl Moritz, global leadership coach, and Director of the International Coach Federation Board, will represent ICF at the Asia Pacific Coaching Conference in Singapore. The 2nd Asia Pacific Coaching Conference APCC2012 is co-organized by ICF Singapore and the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches (APAC).
Moritz, who coaches leaders in a dozen countries, including Australia, China, Japan, and Singapore, says coaching’s growth is sky rocketing in Asia, “It is an exciting time be a coaching professional in this vibrant, promising region. According to a study conducted by CoachSource, the number of coaches in the area has tripled in five years and the average hourly rate for coaching in four countries in the region exceeds that for coaching in the US by 20-50%. Not only is coaching in increasingly higher demand than it has been, it appears to be more valued in this region.”
The APCC2012 vision is to increase the positive impact of coaching across the region. This vision will be expressed through the theme “Coaching beyond Boundaries” and achieved through three progressive dimensions: Transforming Self, Developing the Profession, and Inspiring Organizations and Society.
The conference will take place at Resorts World Sentosa on 4th & 5th September 2012.
