By | Press Releases | No Comments

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – December 31, 2014 – After serving as Director, Vice President, and then Vice Chair of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Global Board, Meryl Moritz, MCC, 20 year veteran of coaching and ICF member since the association’s inception, steps down.

Mark Ruth, Director of Research and Education of ICF, says of Moritz, “As one of the more tenured members of the current ICF Senior Management Team, I just wanted to say how much I have appreciated having her perspective all these many years. She was a steadying force and it is truly amazing to reflect on some of the big projects that we have completed over the years with her input and advice (e.g. branding research/focus groups, the industry studies, presentations, etc.) We thank her for it all.”

Moritz says of her service, “The past five years have taken me to all corners of the planet as ICF’s ambassador, meeting people and carrying the message that coaching has the power to help humanity to flourish. I’m humbled, and amazed myself, to see how far the profession has come in these few years…light years from what any of us early members could foresee 20 years ago when ICF was founded. I will continue ambassadorship for the profession — even though I will no longer hold an ICF Board seat — as it is an honor to serve in any capacity to grow coaching’s professionalism and reach.”
